Pluto leaves Aquarius on January 19, 2044

Neptune leaves Aries on March 23, 2039

Uranus leaves Gemini on March 22, 2033

Once Uranus returns to Gemini on April 25, 2026, we are facing seven years of the outer planets in yang (fire/air) signs.

My body is already tracking this with hot flashes and dry eyes. One remedy, according to my acupuncturist, is bath time. I have also taken to growing herbs on our balcony.

Natally, I resonate with fire and air predominant; however, my neglected Capricorn Moon is a big player. The Moon reminds me to slow down, to remember my limits. Another big player for me is Saturn in an air sign and fire house squaring the other yin placement in my horoscope, Mercury in Pisces. Over the years, I have learned that the metaphorical and the symbolic reach into the unconscious mind and recover the messages I would prefer to suppress. These are also the messages that liberate.

What might this indicate for us on a collective level? I think we need to look to the planets closer to home for yin support. Draw on the Moon’s monthly stay in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces. Same with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter regular transits through yin signs.

Now for a little yin remedy, let’s free associate:

Earth feels like planting seeds in the soil, gathering clay to make pots, walking barefoot in the forest, building a stone path.

Water feels like splashing in puddles, lounging by the lake, floating down a river, swimming in the ocean.

Earth and water feel like hermit crabs, sand castles, sink holes, a potter’s wheel.

Now that we are grounded in our bodies and connected to our emotions, we can ponder the meaning of the outer planets’ yang.

Uranus brings rapid change, breakdown/breakthrough, traumatic events, liberation from conditioning. Uranus offers us a different future.

Neptune brings dissolution, clearing of the fog, escapism, boundarylessness. Neptune offers us solace in the present.

Pluto brings osmosis, confrontation, destruction, reckoning with the past. Pluto offers us a complete remodel.

Uranus in Gemini brings perspective, opens us to new ways of thinking. What lies beyond duality?

Neptune in Aries reminds us that we were never separate and that we are uniquely expressing sparks. What particular offering are you firing in your studio?

Pluto in Aquarius unleashes all that we have suffered as Souls in this dimension, all of it will come to the surface to be shed. What suffering are you ready to release?

Remember that the more you take care of your own needs and nurture your family and community, while allowing yourself to be cared for in return, the more you will be able to not only weather but glide with the rapidly unfolding collective transits of the next seven years.
