Bird’s Eye: Neptune’s first foray in Aries

Everything is fleeting. Even pain. Though pain seems to last longer than beauty because we push it away or bury it. Meanwhile, beauty is not quite palpable because we want to imbibe it. Something is missing. Is it us? Is this the cost of separation? We see the field of violets or Venus rising just before dawn, and the beauty is piercing because we cannot grasp it. We are not the violets, we are not Venus.
When we hurt or when we are in fear, the discomfort is neverending. It overwhelms. We become it. Then one day we realize it’s over, or has faded. And we wonder what that was all about.
Neptune is in Aries asking us to have a new spiritual experience. Since the March lunar eclipse, I have been navigating dry eyes. With Neptune in Aries, is it time to try acupuncture? What are some other ways to experience the spiritual?
I am listening to the song birds without translation. The first bird is up just before dawn. In the evening, it’s spring peepers. They are more of a chorus than a cacophony.
Sit with your feet on the ground and just breathe. If you are outside, feel the air on your skin. Play with light. Open yourself to inspiration arising from whatever you are doing. Be in your experience.
We are membranous. Contained within skin. And porous. And the etheric? We can think of the etheric as the body double, the body that remembers our experiences. So we are membranes in a field of ever expanding fields. We are dandelions (metaphorically). We are actually not dandelions. We are not Venus. We are not a lawn of violets. We are not the finches or the peepers or the morning glories. We are our experience of the dandelions, of Venus, of violets and peepers and glories of all kinds.
We take all this in. And all this takes us in. We are interwoven yet maintain our form. We experience the spark of divine connection. It is fleeting, and that is okay, because the next moment will be another connection and then another. We have to release in order to be. We have to be in order to feel. We have to feel in order to take it in. We have to absorb in order to let go. This is the spiritual experience. This pulse. This rhythm.
