The Moon visits all the houses every month

The Moon visits all the houses of a chart every month. In Evolutionary Astrology, we say emotions are the language of the psyche or soul. The soul speaks the language of emotion.
As the Moon enters a house, it highlights the emotional content of that house. These emotions may not be on the surface or even readily available in the body. If that is the case, how do we access them?
If the Moon is transiting your first house, you might want to sweat it out. What is pouring out of you with all that saline? Is it bitterness or frustration or elation?
If the Moon is transiting your second house, visit a flower shop or touch the leaves newly fallen to the ground. What sensations do you feel in your body? Do you feel more grounded now?
If the Moon is transiting your third house, call or speak to a sibling or friend who is like a sibling. Are you hesitant to make the call? How long has it been since you reached out?
If the Moon is transiting your fourth house, let the emotions circulate. Sit and hold them in your lap. If you feel fragile, wrap a blanket around you. Let the blanket hold what feels too big to hold for yourself. Then wash the blanket.
If the Moon is transiting your fifth house, get out the pencils and draw, or paint something, or make a collage. What vision is emerging? What are you expressing? Let your inspiration shape your actions.
If the Moon is transiting your sixth house, do something repetitive to get out of your head. Take a walk around the neighborhood. A slow, mindful walk. Just focus on your feet touching the ground. Let your worries fly up to the sky.
If the Moon is transiting your seventh house, listen to music or make a mix tape for someone special. Are you feeling sentimental, nostalgic, melancholic, hopeful?
If the Moon is transiting your eighth house, go night swimming with your love or give yourself a massage. There is abandonment in these choices, the good kind! Just sink into it.
If the Moon is transiting your ninth house, plan that international trip you always wanted to take—dream big. What is stirring in you? Are you apprehensive or excited as you envision yourself in another country?
If the Moon is transiting your tenth house, write your obituary. What are you most proud of? What do you regret? What parts of you will live on in others?
If the Moon is transiting your eleventh house, what insights come to mind when you plug into your networks and cohorts? Where do you feel a sense of belonging? Where do you feel alienation?
If the Moon is transiting your twelfth house, what emotions are hidden from you? What movie best describes your current emotional state? How do you manage the flood of emotions?
As the Moon moves through your houses each month, it changes signs along the way. Think about the signs as the clothes necessary for the situations the Moon encounters in each house. For example, I have Cancer on the 10th house cusp. When the Moon enters my 10th house each month, it is draped in a blanket, or it is offering winter coats to those who need them. Toward the end of the 10th house, the Moon has a wardrobe change. The inner work of reckoning with reach and impact has been processed and held (or I am holding that work for another), and it suddently feels too hot in the blanket or the coat. It's swimsuit season all of the sudden. But what kind of swimsuit does a natal Capricorn Moon wear while in Leo in the 10th house? How can I be in the sun without really exposing myself? I don a hat and sunglasses and look like a celebrity!
Spend some time with the Moon each month. Play with how the Moon feels when it enters a new house in your natal chart. Feel the sign changes as wardrobe changes.
